I love rotisserie chicken but nothing beats homemade

This Slow Cooker Whole Chicken is simple to make and taste even better than store-bought.

This recipe is one of my favorites. We love buying rotisserie chicken from the store when we need a quick dinner. I wanted to try my hand at making it at home and it came out even better then store bought.

This recipe is the classic but you can also season it in different ways. We like adding lemon pepper or even taco seaosning for a fun different flavor.
How to Make Slow Cooker Whole Chicken:
Step one: Start by preparing your slow cooker. Place foil in the bottom of the slow cooker like a rack.
Tip: The foil well help keep your chicken out of any liquid that will come from your chicken when cooking. Keeping it out of the water will prevent it from getting soggy.

Step two: Mix seasoning with with lemon juice, oil, and all seasonings then rub onto your chicken.

Cooking Directions:
Step three: Cook on high for 3-4 hours. Remove from the slow cooker and serve.
Tip: For a crispy skin place your chicken on a sheet pan and place in the oven on broil for 3 minutes on the lower rack until the skin is crispy.
