Chicken parmigiana is an intensely flavored dish of crispy, crunchy chicken topped with warm, oozing melted cheese and then garnished with the luscious flavor of roasted cherry tomatoes. It all begins with a pan of roasted cherry tomatoes, I’m obsessed with roasting tomatoes, I’ve been doing it for years and you can’t beat the flavor. I like to line my pan with foil so none of the juices dry up and burn, you want every single drop. I always add shaved garlic into the pan and toss in some fresh basil along with dousing the tomatoes with olive oil, salt and pepper. You’ll want to roast the tomatoes until they burst open and release their juices so that they all...

Asparagus Quiche

I haven’t left my house or interacted with others in any significant way for over a month now. It is such a strange time we are living in that it’s rendered everything that I still hopefully cling to as some sort of ideal of “normal” as quaint: hugging friends gathered together for a yoga class, inviting a family over for dinner on Sunday night, or taking mine to our favorite Ethiopian restaurant for dinner. You’d much prefer an apple pie right now, maybe, or a pumpkin. I’ve been sitting on this peach & blueberry pie recipe for a bit and am definitely late to the game in posting it. Sorry y’all. But, lets be honest, peach pie is always a good thing, and it pairs so well with so many things. In this case, blueberries. And the color that  forms as the fruits cook down and meld together is just so lovely. Happy baking! . . ....

Front Entry Refresh

This post is sponsored by The Home Depot Canada but I will only work and or recommend companies and products I believe in. Therefore, the opinions on this post are all my own and I hope you enjoy them.  Hello friends…I hope you’re having a great week. I’m excited to share with you a little ‘make under’ of the entryway. This is kinda like those makeovers for women who wear too much makeup  and the makeup artist shows them how to use less. If you’ve followed me for a while than you might have heard me say that my style has and is evolving. I’ve been craving less clutter and more clean lines. So a couple of weeks ago we...
