Creating A Cozy French Inspired Kitchen

We're in the middle of a shelter in place order and my kitchen is getting a work out. I've been at this five weeks. Bill a little less than that because he had to go into work on the 16th of March.   That means that we've made 95 meals in this kitchen since the lock down. I've done some fun and cozy French inspired things to make my kitchen a sweet place to hang out. I made some darling café curtains out of an old and torn tablecloth. These are so fun and vintage looking. The windows are worn out and don't open but I would love to see these gauzy little café curtains fluttering in the spring breeze. I’m talking to you, coleslaw. Cabbage is a pretty underrated piece of produce. (Here I’m talking about your basic green cabbage, not your fancy Napa or Purple or Bok Choy.) It’s incredibly cheap, and incredibly versatile. We really started using it with dumplings, adding it to the filling to make them extra-juicy and lining our steamer with it to prevent sticking. With Shane’s love of cookies that was his choice of bake, we have used this recipe for many years and its as close to a Millie’s cookie as we could get AND best of all if you wanted to have these on plan you still can just adjust...

Whirlpool Dishwasher Not Cleaning, Error Codes Included in Post

I have a WDT710PAYB5 Whirlpool dishwasher. We have noticed dishes are not always getting clean, and that white powder almost like the tablets are not dissolving is left on the plastic on top rack. I figured out how to run the diagnostics mode and get error codes. The first time I ran this, I got these in order 6-2 (Inlet Valve - Fill Valve Electrical Problem) 7-1 (Heating - No Heat) 10-1 (Other - Dispenser Electrical Problem) 8-2 (Draining - Drain Motor Electrical Problem) The 8-2 draining issue I attribute to a clogged drain pipe that I have since resolved. My dishwasher appears to be filling with water and draining now, although perhaps it is not getting enough water? (I...
