Summertime is here and I’m obsessed with all the Summer produce! I’m buying up pretty much everything from the bright and juicy berries to the luscious Summer stonefruit. But every time Summer comes around, the one thing I’m super excited about are tomatoes! The flavors of summertime tomatoes can’t be beat, and they are incredibly versatile in the kitchen. I use them as a topping for my tomato focaccia, my Summer zucchini pasta, as well as in my easy baked ziti dish. These tomatoes are paired with California green ripe olives another super versatile ingredient that...

Here is a simple recipe on how to make baked tofu

The baked tofu is seasoned with my teriyaki sauce for extra flavor! If I’m being completely honest, I prefer eating pan-fried tofu more than baked tofu. It takes less time to cook, and pan-frying browns the tofu more evenly. However, I usually pan fry tofu in a non-stick skillet, which some people do not have in their kitchen. Plus, you don’t need as much oil to bake tofu and still get crispy edges on the tofu.  HOW TO MAKE BAKED TOFU WHAT TYPE OF TOFU TO USE If you are looking for baked tofu with slightly crispier edges, use super-firm tofu. You can find them at...

We turned our Chocolate Banana Bread into muffins and topped it with crunchy turbinado sugar. Now, these muffins have become one of our favorite banana recipes…ever. Made with just 2 bananas! Ever had only 2 solitary bananas with peels blackening on your counter? The other day, I had this exact problem (if you could call it that!). Most banana bread and muffin recipes call for 3 to 4 bananas,...

Perfect for parties, game night or just a snack! Jump To Recipe I’m not much of a drinker, though somehow I always have beer in my refrigerator. I do occasionally crack open a bottle to drink, but more often the beer is an ingredient in whatever I’m making. For example, I use it in my beer cheese dip which is probably the best thing ever to accompany my homemade soft pretzels or to smear on my pretzel buns for a third cheese on my double cheeseburger. But then I realized why not just add the beer into my soft pretzel dough? The resulting soft beer pretzel twists have to be my new favorite thing! What are soft beer pretzel twists?...
